Production

South Belridge - produced at an average of 1,295 boe/day in 2Q09, an increase of 185% over the same period in 2008. The project covers approximately 1,500 acres across three lease blocks at the southern extension of the prolific South Belridge Field.

Appraisal

Belgian Anticline – an appraisal project in partnership with Aera Energy LLC, a joint venture between Shell and ExxonMobil and the largest producer in California. The first exploration well has been drilled and discovered three potential hydrocarbon bearing zones. This well was flow tested in early 2009 and found to be water wet. However, OPI retains the option to drill a second exploration well. The project currently covers approximately 6,400 acres and gives Orchard the option to drill additional prospects on Aera acreage.

Southeast Lost Hills – one well has been drilled in this project and is currently testing the extension of the Monterey oil play being developed throughout the Lost Hills Field. There is an estimated upside potential of 6-12 MMboe recoverable hydrocarbons from approximately 2,600 acres. Stimulation and completion procedures are currently being appraised to maximize recoveries from this project.
